Parkinsons Recovery Activities for September

Results for the September survey are posted on this member website:

Natural Therapies for Parkinson’s Disease

A theme of recovery has emerged: Most of the therapies that have been useful in reversing Parkinson’s symptoms turn down the volume of the sympathetic nervous system (which inflames symptoms) and switches on the parasympathetic (which soothes symptoms).

There is no single approach, method or therapy that makes the switch happen.
Each person discovers their own unique approach. Dozens of therapies
are reported to have been useful in this regard.

Results of the September survey have inspired my commitment to offer a new
course this fall – What Really Matters – which will cover the therapies reported to have been useful in reversing symptoms. Announcement of this new offering is forthcoming.

Several emails were read which covered the following topics:

1. What function does Sinemet play, why it can help and whether it has an impact on the immune system.

2. Issues with leg pain and back pain and solutions that have been helpful.

3. Issues with abdominal spasms and tremors with a focus on a therapy that was useful.
