Vision:
Sustain the hope of recovery for anyone who has the symptoms of
                  Parkinson's

Mission: Provide support that is needed to recover by offering new
                       opportunities each day to:

  • Eat healthy food
  • Exercise
  • Inquire
  • Meditate
  • Laugh
  • Experiment
  • Dialogue
  • Learn
  • Track symptoms
  • Create new neural pathways

Goals:

Document the experiences of people with Parkinson's who have
found ways to feel better.

Report on the treatments of providers from all health care modalities
who have experience treating Parkinson's.

Identify treatments and modalities that help people feel better.

Provide ways to identify why anyone might unconsciously choose
not to recover.

Offer methods to reduce the effects of stress and balance hormones
naturally.

Build a community of individuals on the road to recovery.

Assumptions:

  • A single "cure" is not possible given the multiple causes of Parkinson's.
  • No one can "fix" anyone.
  • The body has the wisdom to heal itself.
  • Each person's situation is unique.
  • What works for one person may not work for someone else.
  • Personal experimentation is the best way to know what will help.
  • It takes time for symptoms to surface.
  • It takes time for symptoms to resolve.
  • People are seldom aware they are feeling better.
  • The road to recovery is rocky.
